Audi Rs3 Top Speed Without Limiter

Does somebody has the topspeed limiter still intact? It's a well known issue on the TTRS and RS3 that the limiter will reset itself after tuning... Almost every tuner has this problem. There is a whole topic about this on another forum, but the the topic is dead there for 1 year, so I try it here.

So does somebody knows how to solve the limiter issue? Is it a rev limiter?

I know a lot of people saying that they don't have a limiter after tuning, but didn't try it for real.

Don't have my limiter since tuning.

Audi limiters are very hit and miss on stock cars anyway, some report no limiter others with differing speeds.

Yes indeed. But I've heard that some RS owners have no limiter for about 2000km after tuning and then the car reset itselfs. Very weird...
So your car walks near the 300 km/u?

This was happening to various cars in the very early stages of tuning, where company's rushed to market with software thinking they had cracked the ECU when in actual fact they hadn't.

Not heard about this happening again for a long time.

My own car isn't limited anymore that's running APR software

Ive said this before on here mine has not got one, i was at an old runway and tried mine out i had 170 out of it and backed off and it would of went further... But saying that i havent tried it since i got it remapped when i was last home... Wish i had got the map done sooner what a difference it has made to the car

170 mph on the tacho? That's about 270 km/u tacho = GPS around 260. Too bad you didn't go further
I also get mine to 270, but it won't go higher.

I am back home in 4 weeks i will unwrap her, warm her up and take her for a run up to the old runway i use and see what i can get out of her as i say ive never had her out for a good run since the remap as my 2 sons will not let me go anywhere in the car without them, they love the RS3 as much as i do.

I will get back to you when i am home with the results...

I was impressed with the 170 just at the speed it got there it pulled like a train and as i say it was me who backed off.

Ive said this beofre on here as well, my friend has an R8 and my RS3 before it was remapped was ahead of it from go, he was gutted that he paid twice what i did for his R8 and it was nowhere near as quick off the mark or up to 120 he backed off then with a very unhappy look on his face..haha!
